More pictures!

Here are some more pics of outfits I've put together. All are taken of me, wearing my brace:

Green flowered dress from Charlotte Russe, jacket from Dillard's. It has spaghetti straps and ties in the back.

Sorry the light's bad in this shot...but it's a navy dress with a gray sash from Wink. I'm wearing it with open-toed, sling back red flats.

Converses...a cute alternative for the navy dress!
This is my absolute favorite skirt in the world, from Anthropologie. I wear it with everything! Same yellow tank, belted with a blue and white striped top.
...with cute shoes!
I use this strapless shirt as a beach cover-up, but then I discovered it could be part of an outfit!

Snapshots

Here are a few more pictures of my outfits that I wear over my brace. Sorry the quality is pretty bad... I'll try to post better ones next:)
Blue skirt from Anthropologie, Yellow tank top from Charlotte Russe, Blue and white striped button-up shirt from Harold's.

This whole outfit is from Charlotte Russe (haha can you tell it's my favorite store?) The loose Mexican top looks good over the tight tank top and hides your brace.

Dressing Up

I'm on the Speech and Debate team at my school, and last year I spent a lot of time worrying about what I would wear for "dress attire". But, eventually, I figured out what works and what doesn't when it comes to wearing business clothes for any event.

1) Pencil Skirts...look nice on the rack, but they just won't work on a brace. They are too tight in the back, and your brace will definately show. (Also, trying to sit down won't be too fun)

2) Dress Pants...are what I wore to tournaments along with a camisole and jacket. If I was standing up, walking, etc., no one noticed the brace. When I sat down you could see the shape of it, but my jacket usually covered it up. As long as they're not too tight, dress pants are fine.

3) Loose skirts... would be great. My only problem was that they didn't match the style of my jacket. But you could wear a skirt like this with a cute cardigan and heels!
4) Dresses...with loose skirts are perfect! I wore a dress similar to this with a black sweater, silver necklace and heels and got compliments on it all the time. The way the dress is cinched at the waist and then fills out makes your waist look good and your brace unnoticable!
